Every week, we organize clean-up actions, eco-building projects, and educational activities across Gran Canaria. From UNESCO-protected areas like the Barranco de Fataga to bustling tourist hotspots, our mission is clear: reduce waste, raise awareness, and build a greener future.
One Action at a Time
We believe the future lies in the hands of young people. Through our partnerships with European organizations like the European Solidarity Corps, we provide young changemakers with hands-on experience, leadership training, and the chance to make a real impact.
Ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference? Whether you’re a local resident, a business, a tourist, or a young European, there’s a place for you in the Gran Canaria Clean-Up movement.
Sign up for upcoming events, join our volunteering programs, or become a partner to amplify your impact.
We believe that young people are at the heart of lasting environmental change. Through our partnerships with European organizations, including the European Solidarity Corps, we offer unique opportunities for young changemakers to:
Gain hands-on experience in sustainability and environmental care.
Develop leadership skills and ecological responsibility.
Connect with local communities and global networks.
Create real impact while contributing to the UNESCO-protected landscapes of Gran Canaria.
Starting 13 February 2026, we will welcome groups of at least 8 young Europeansfor immersive solidarity projects. These groups will work alongside local residents to make a real difference in environmental preservation, waste management, and sustainability education.
Starting in February 2026, we invite young people from across Europe to embark on a transformative journey to Gran Canaria as part of a unique solidarity project in collaboration with the European Solidarity Corps (ESC)and supported by the European Union. This program offers participants the chance to engage in meaningful environmental action while developing valuable leadership skills.
As part of the project, participants will contribute to preserving and restoring Gran Canaria’s natural beauty. Activities include regular clean-ups, eco-construction projects, reforestation, and interactive sustainability workshops. Through these hands-on experiences, they’ll gain practical knowledge and build strong connections with both local communities and fellow European changemakers.
Participants will also have the opportunity to take on ambassadorial roles, becoming advocates for sustainability both during their time on the island and back home. Their involvement will inspire others and help spread the movement’s message far beyond Gran Canaria.
The ESC fully covers travel, accommodation, and participation costsfor eligible young Europeans. For those who don’t qualify under ESC criteria, we also offer self-funded participation opportunities. If you’re interested in joining on a private basis, we welcome your enthusiasm and dedication.
